Any time I start to take Star Trek too seriously, I direct my attention to this video. It helps me to remember that the people on the show were just actors, and sometimes, they obviously really needed to make some money.
Still a Trek fan, though.

I liked Shatner's Rocket Man.
I liked it to. The Bilbo song was simply better.
